The ferocious Sunil Narine went out all guns blazing in Visakhapatnam as Kolkata Knight Riders locked horns with Delhi Capitals on Wednesday evening. Promoted to open the innings again this season, the Caribbean all-rounder fired all cylinders right from the word go, taking every Delhi bowler to the cleaners. The left-hand batter smashed 7 sixes and as many boundaries during his stay in the middle but missed out on his maiden IPL century by a mere 15 runs.

Narine was smashing effortlessly all around the park, resembling to some computer game of cricket. He notched up his half-century off just 21 balls but before reaching the milestone, he hammered 3 sixes and a couple of boundaries in an over to veteran bowler Ishant Sharma.
