India will have four separate participants for separate categories of Judo at the Asian Games 2023. The four Judo events include men’s 100 kg, women’s 70 kg, women’s 78 kg and women’s +78kg. She led India to the World Judo Juniors Championships in 2021 and the Senior Asian Open in 2023.

India has won five medals across different judo events in Asian Games history. They have been consistent performers in this sporting category also recording several wins at the World Championships. Maibam Indubala Devi will be competing in the 78 kg category at the 19th Asian Games. She has won five golds at some premier tournaments, including the National Games in Gujarath 2022 and the National Judo Championships 2022.
Avtar Singh will participate in the Men’s 100 kg category while Tulika Maan and Garima Choudhary will compete in two other events. Judo at the 19th Asian Games will feature 15 different events. There are more than 28 participating countries in the set of events. Around 115 men and 88 women will be participating in the event.
